What information do you collect from me?
We use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server, and to administer our Web site. Your IP address is used to gather broad demographic information (e.g., number of users from Mexico).
How do you protect my personal information?
This site has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. Furthermore, an individual’s nooked account can only be accessed by using a password that individual creates.
Does nooked share my personal information with others?
No. However, nooked will partner with several affiliates in order to offer our services to their users. If you sign up with nooked through one of these affiliates, you may be considered a customer of both that affiliate and nooked, and therefore your personal information will be subject to both their privacy policy and our own. Such situations will always be presented to our users in the clearest possible terms on an opt-in only basis.
Will nooked deliver unsolicited messages to me?
No. nooked only contacts you when you have chosen to be notified by this service. The service may also contact you in order to make you aware of important system upgrades or changes that affect your account, or as the result of a technical support inquiry you placed via email. nooked will not sell or rent your email address to anyone without your consent.
How can I view, change or correct my personal information?
Our site provides users the opportunity to opt-out of receiving communications from us at the point where we request information about the visitor AND whenever we send information to the user that they’ve requested.
This site gives users the following options for removing their information from our database to not receive future communications or to no longer receive our service:
- Any registered user can visit their nooked account and delete any and all Feeds they have set up to use syndication services
- Email info@nooked.com
To change and modify information previously provided, registered users may visit their Manage My Account page and change their contact information for email and instant messaging notifications from nooked.
What if this privacy policy changes?
nooked reserves the right to update this policy at any time.
